Children's Time Time is for children ages 3-10 years old. It is a time during both our Worship in the Sanctuary and Worship by the Water service when Pastor Joan gathers the children around her and shares a message targeted just to them. She conveys her sermon theme in “little people’s” vernacular.

“Amazing Grace” Grace Church’s Praise Band currently consists of 7 members who play contemporary Christian praise music on guitars, drums, and keyboard. “Amazing Grace” plays at Worship by the Water during the Summer Worship schedule and the second Sunday of each month at the Worship in the Sanctuary service during the Winter Worship schedule.

Grace Church’s Adult Choir is open to all who wish to Worship through song. There are no auditions. Every voice is beautiful to the Lord. The choir sings every Sunday at the Worship in the Sanctuary service. Grace Church also has a Children’s Choir. Any child wishing to sing is welcome. Practice is held every other week at Junior Church during the Winter Worship schedule. If you are 4 to 12 years of age, this choral group is for you (regardless of experience or voice!)

Communion at Grace Church is a practice of “Open Communion”, meaning there is no age restriction, all are welcome. Church membership is not a requirement. “Open Communion” is held on the first Sunday of every month during Worship in the Sanctuary.

Faith Speaks is a very special portion of the Worship in the Sanctuary service once a month during the Winter Worship schedule where a member of Grace Church shares a part of their personal faith journey with the congregation.

We have many other areas of Worship that depend on Lay Participation. We always need Liturgists, Greeters, Ushers and Acolytes for our Worship in the Sanctuary service. Liturgists read the scripture during the Worship service. Greeters hand out bulletins at both entrances before the Worship service. Ushers help with seating, the offering and communion. Acolytes are children age 8 to 12 years old who light the candles. If you feel called to help in any of these areas, we welcome your participation. Membership is not required.

Grace Church has a Summer Schedule and a Winter Schedule.

The Summer Schedule:
Begins the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend &
Ends the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend.

The Winter Schedule:
Begins the Sunday after Labor Day Weekend &
Ends the Sunday before Memorial Day Weekend.

Worship by the Water - Sunday’s from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.

A contemporary Summer Worship service, held on the shores of Lake Erie at Sherod Park.
Grace Church’s Praise Band, “Amazing Grace” plays at this service.
This is an informal service that is family friendly for all ages.
Open to All – Bring your lawn chairs or blankets!
