Welcome to Grace Church in Vermilion, Ohio. The people of Grace Church invite you to Worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m. Whatever your age or interest you will find a comforting place to settle in and visit. Our Worship Hour includes Chancel Choir, Children’s Time with Junior Church that follows for ages 4 – 9 and Nursery Care for our youngest ones provided by Megan, our professional Child-Care person. Fellowship Time with refreshments follows Worship and Sunday School for all ages proceeds Worship from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

The congregation of Grace committed to growing in our faith and expressing the love of Christ in a needy world. We are actively involved with Vermilion Food Pantry, Salvation Army, Grace’s Kitchen, Genesis House in Lorain and International Child Care in Haiti. We find our joy in sharing Christ’s care beyond ourselves and with each other. We look forward to meeting you!

Pastor Joan

Pastor Joan leads a one-month “On the Porch” class several times during the year for people who are interested in learning more about Grace Church and pursuing church membership. The class meets on Sunday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. during the Sunday School hour.

Rev. Joan Skelley-Watts has been serving Grace Church since July 2005. A 1975 graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary she has been in active, pastoral ministry for 32 years. She is married to Roger who serves as pastor of Huron UMC. Together they have 2 grown children, Andrew 30 and Kathryn 26. As empty nester’s they enjoy serving their respective congregations in this relaxing region of Ohio.
